Faster Routes for Yeovil Town

One of the snags from running during Open Day yesterday was that route setting took too long.  We use a ZTC 511 to which I have installed my own extended memory EEPROM a few years ago now.  It holds about 70 routes two of which resets each of the two main tracks on the front end.

The ZTC can be programmed with any amount of delay between operating points or signals but that is tedious so if you use the default setting you get a 2 second delay between operating points because it assumes a solenoid motor which will need the delay to recharge the capacitance discharge unit.

If you are setting signals this standard delay is defaulted to 0.25 seconds which is ideal for the fitted slow motion motors which draw very little current.  I have now reprogrammed them all as signals except where we call up one of the 3 solenoid motors I have left.  Where possible the one solenoid operation is kept to the end of the sequence.

Whilst I was at it I decided that preset 48 enter R which was my main reset should set both main lines on the front end and both through lanes in the fiddle yard...

I have now tested these and they all work very fast and the revised reset is ideal for novices to use when using the layout for club running.
