Home at last

After much deliberation between members we have been allocated a new space in the new clubhouse.  The original plan for layouts was one where the larger layouts used as few lights as possible so that we used less electricity when we attend mid-week or weekends to work on the layout, however it has been decided that some layouts can now be in a different plane so it was important to get Yeovil Town positioned so these  can fit around it.  Yeovil Town fits across the room and almost fills the width of the room up to the corridor but it does show off the layout better.  We opted for this way around because we can now display information on plinths and also a large screen close to the corridor.

We have run a train around the track but now need to either re-add the temp track to Yeovil Junction or make the hand built turnout complex and fit that.  I prefer the latter.  We will next level the layout and refit the stock so that we can run trains at least once a month.
