Putting a roof on the layout

When the weather is torrential rain and the roof starts leaking a drastic solution is required.  The leaky chicken shed roof caused the track to flood in places and cause havoc with the DCC signal.  The dust cover over the fiddle yard trapped some water but could not get rid of it!  There was also a significant leak over the curve into the fiddle yard throat.

I tried to extend the partial innner roof overvthevlayout but my age and health proved i could no longer work above my head.  Time to design a roof directly over the fiddle yard and corner. 

Well under the the thin plastic cover is an area of damp that will need drying out.  Current measures utilise a bucket over the track just off shot here on the bend which is another damp patch.
