Yeovil Model Railway Group Membership Information
We are an open friendly club and that is reflected in our membership procedure. Call our club secretary Ed Pickup on 07970 382288 or email secretary@ymrg.co.uk with your name and number and we will try and call you at a convenient time.
Someone will give you directions to the club buildings and you can come along to see where we are, who we are and what we do. There is no pressure to join immediately because we believe there is no point in anyone belonging to a club they don't feel comfortable with. That said we would be surprised if you did not feel at home immediately and fit in with what we are currently doing. Whatever your interest we are sure you will find a place to help and if you just want to watch and chat then that's fine with us.
Fees are for the year with a concession for part year joiners. The club night is Wednesday 19:30 - 10:30 (21:30 often sees some wander down the local pubic house!) but after a while you can come at any time to work on projects as several currently do. We have a full time facility where layouts are permanently erected so no setting up and breaking down each time.
Why not give us a call and spend a few evenings with us - at the very least you will find our projects intresting...
