Member Layouts

Many of our members design and build their own layouts either as a "never leave home" (NLH) layout or as an exhibition layout.  There are always member layouts under development but in some cases they are complete and exhibited privately.  Members are free to carry out work on their own layouts at the group's premises (if there is space) as is the case with South West by Southern.

Albion Quarry - This layout by Bob Alderman is complete and has exhibited at a number of shows.  It is an excellent model and attracts much interest and praise wherever it has been shown.

South West by Southern - This layout by Peter Bedding is under constructions at the club site and is intended to be exhibition standard.  This layout promises to captivate the viewers with it's simple but excellent approach to it's intended subject.

Back Water - This is a Diorama by Bob Alderman.  It has won 2nd prize for it's intended competition and has since been to several exhibitions, usually when Bob is demonstrating.

North Road - This layout by Paul Ratcliffe is an 'N' gauge layout based on one from a magazine.  There are plans to develop the layout at the club into something larger.
