Summit Meeting at the clubhouse

Yes, we were summoned to a summit meeting.  Not one full of world leaders! but one full of members interested in the O gauge project called "The Summit".  Scenery was being built and the first piece rang alarm bells with the project manager so a discussion was had.  Following a power point presentation from Bob the discussion went along several lines (watch the pun here...). 

It was decided that the original plan was probably correct in the main but it would be a good idea to mock up the whole front top to check things out. At this point the resourcefulness of club members took over and in no time at all  a plan drawn on a huge roll of white paper appeared.  We all viewed from the front and the impact of the scenery line was tremendous - it gave us a good understanding of what was right and wrong.  The first mock up board is due to have a slight mod and the whole exercise meant the team working on the scenery had a better idea of what is needed.
